MILITARY BARRACKS

Built in 1838 - Lt. Ulysses S. Grant lived here while stationed in the Army.

He was the 18th President of the United States. 

It was the oldest continuously occupied combat military base in the United States from 1776 - 1995.

President Theodore Roosevelt stayed here on a visit to Plattsburgh and the base.
